Obviously oil pressure is important, but does the gauge really need to give an accurate reading? I figure the stock gauge tells me what I need to know, for my purposes. To be honest I dont spend a whole lot of time looking at them either. The boost gauge periodically, and the coolant temp gauge I used often to see if I had all the air out of the system, for a long time I didnt realize I hadnt burped the coolant system well enough and that was why it ran on the hot side, even though the factory gauge didnt show anything out of the norm.
